Elasticore® Medical Extrusion Wire is a great alternative to the silver clad copper or Teflon-coated copper material traditionally used in medical tubing extrusion. Core wire is used as a place holder during the extrusion process, which can leave behind flakes, foreign debris, and contaminants when performed with the aforementioned materials. We also have the capability to produce cables from as few as two wires to as many as 133, with standard constructions such as 3x3, 3x7, 3x3x3, 7x7, and 7x19.
