Our Locoloc® Handswagers! Locoloc® Handswagers have the ability to swage oval and stop sleeves. In today’s blog we will look at three handswaging tools that swage oval and stop sleeves. We will be looking at the 0-1.5-3FS, 0-3/64SC, and the 0-1/16SC tool. By understanding the capabilities of each of these tools, you will be able to confidently decide which swager is best suited to your application needs. Locoloc® 0-1.5-3FS Handswager:
This handheld swaging tool is specifically designed for swaging copper and aluminum 3/64”, 1/16”, and 3/32” oval and stop sleeves. The tool can also swage 1/8” stop sleeves. The Locoloc® 0-1.5-3FS tool has full width jaws, allowing you to do full swages with a single compression. The tool is relatively lightweight at 3.6lbs.
The 0-3/64SC tool swages 3/64” oval and stop sleeves. The tool can also swage 3/64” and 1/16” stainless steel oval sleeves. The tool weights 4.2 lbs. and is 20” in length. Like all of our other handswagers, the tool should be regularly cleaned and lubricated, bolts kept tight, and swage properly adjusted.
Our 0-1/16SC tool swages 1/16” oval and stop sleeves. Alongside these capabilities, the tool also swages 3/32” stainless steel oval sleeves. Our handswaging tool weighs 4.2 lbs. and is 20” in length.
