Pomfret, CT -Following a string of donations to aviation maintenance programs at universities, Loos continues its philanthropic journey by donating wire products to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. These donations will be used to make wire sculptures at the Camp's Hospital Outreach Program.

When asked about the donation, Mike Wallace, V.P. of Sales and Marketing said, "It's great to be able to assist such a wonderful charity - especially one that is in our own backyard. We did this to brighten the spirits of such wonderful children, ones who have done nothing but draw a bad card in life. To be able to incite a child's creativity and imagination is truly priceless. When we were given the option to step forward, it was a no brainer."

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a community dedicated to providing a different kind of healing to seriously ill children. Through Camp programs, year-round outreach to hospitals and clinics and ongoing services the Camp serves more than 20,000 children, families and medical caregivers each year. All services are provided free of charge.

The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is funded entirely by charitable donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Contrary to popular belief, less than 1% of their operating revenue comes from the sale of Newman’s Own products.

Loos & Co., Inc., a family owned operation located in Pomfret, CT has been a leader in wire, cable, wire rope, and cable assemblies since 1958. As an upstart, Loos & Company began business in the garage August "Gus" Loos and his wife Joan. Today, Loos employs nearly 300, and is among the largest employers in the eastern region of Connecticut.
