We at The HotWire decided now would be a great time to talk a little more about the quality and performance of Loos & Company’s large diameter stainless wire rope by taking a quick look at a few applications, and discussing the range of sizes and materials we offer.
Loos & Company offers wire rope in 6x19 and 6x37 classes from stock. Our standard materials are type 302/304 and type 316 stainless steels. We offer these combinations in sizes ranging from 3/16” through 1-1/4”, all with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC).
If your application requires something a little more exotic, we can manufacture wire rope from any of our available alloys. We can manufacture any of the multitudes of different constructions and cores available in the RR-W 410 specification, plus your custom design should you have one. Basically, we can do it all!
