Loos & Company offers on-line forms that allow customers to send general questions or to request quotations on our products. Below you will find a quick tutorial on how to use these forms.
Start your search on www.loosco.com
From the Loos & Company homepage, you will find the link to "Send Inquiry" in the left side navigation bar. Click on the link and it will take you to the Send an Inquiry landing page.
As you scroll down the page, you will see options for General Inquiry, Request A Cable Quotation, Request A Wire Quotation, and Request An Assembly Quotation.
If you have any general question about Loos & Company, or if you are unsure where you should send your inquiry, use the General Inquiry form. This form is rather basic, and asks for contact information as well as to fill in a comment section. Fill out your contact info, type your question into the comment field, input the text from the image below the comment box, and then hit send. Your question will be sent directly to us, and we will respond expediently.
If you are looking for a quotation on the price of Cable, use the Request A Cable Quotation form. The first section of this form is exactly like the General Inquiry form, asking for contact information. The following section asks about specifics of the cable you are requesting information on. The field "Cable Application" refers to how you plan on using the cable (For instance: Mooring, Conveyor, Fitness). The next field allows you to upload a technical drawing of the cable you are looking for. If you do not have a technical drawing, leave the field blank and fill in the fields of Cable Material, Cable Construction, and Cable Size (bare). For example,
Cable Material:302/304
Cable Construction: 7 x 19
Cable Size (bare): .1875"
If your cable is bare, and not jacketed, skip the following section and move on to "General Cable Quote Comments."
If you cable is jacketed, fill in Cable Size (after jacket) and Jacket Material. For example,
Cable Size (after Jacket): .2500"
Jacket Material: Nylon
Once those fields are filled in, type any additional comments into the "General Cable Quote Comments" field below. Please also use the Comments field to list lengths of cable needed. Input the text from the image below the comments box, and click send.
That is how to use the first two inquiry forms for Loos & Company. Please stay tuned to the Loos & Company HotWire! for part two of "How To Send an Inquiry" where we will discuss Wire and Cable Assembly Quotations.
