For the very first time, a candidate sponsored by Loos & Co., Inc. was awarded a $3000 scholarship through AWRF (ASSOCIATED WIRE ROPE FABRICATORS).  Jillian Rose Covey, the recipient, will attend Westfield State University this fall.

As a member of AWRF, Loos & Co., Inc is part of a non-profit organization joined to promote common interests and concerns in the manufacturing and distributing of lifting, rigging and rope products.  The association works to establish, acquire and preserve technical information and development of safety standards and programs.  Current membership exceeds 300 companies in 18 countries around the world.
